Sa ComSa Worm Xenobiology · Quantum Communication

Classification
Sa xenobiological communication organism · entangled-pair system
Two Variants
Distance ComSa — large, pen-tethered, bioluminescent center · Data Storage ComSa — smaller, untethered, non-luminescent
Body Length
~8 m (Distance) · ~4 m (Data Storage)
Max Girth
~4 m at midpoint · tapers toward both ends
Head Anatomy
Manatee-like mouth — two upper grasping lips + grinding teeth · two fleshy tentacle-eyes (snail-type), dorsal · four bilateral gill slits ~1 m aft of head
Coloration
Uniform fluorescent green integument · center bioluminescent when micro-wormhole active · glow extinguishes on loss of power or paired worm destruction
Communication Channel
Stable micro-wormhole (Einstein-Rosen bridge) · maintained by maximally entangled quantum state between worm pair · unlimited range, interstellar
Physics Basis
ER = EPR (Maldacena-Susskind equivalence) · wormhole geometry and quantum entanglement are the same geometric phenomenon from different mathematical perspectives
Error Correction
Living quantum error-correction system · biological processes continuously sustain the maximally entangled state that geometrically manifests as the ER bridge
Tether System
Long flexible black cable from glowing center to pen ceiling · power + data interface · pen-housed in spheroid communications rooms aboard Sa vessels
Diet
Crot — stringy orange Sa plant · fed in pens
HumanSo Interface
Starfish-shaped living device (Skunk Works development) · enables HumanSo warrior mind-link to Sa ComSa communication network
Pairing & Wormhole Collapse
Worms bred in pairs from birth; each pair shares a single micro-wormhole · when one worm is destroyed or loses power, center stops glowing and channel closes permanently · no-cloning theorem prevents entangled-state duplication — channel cannot be re-established with a different worm
Distance ComSa Worm — Lateral Anatomy
active communication mode · bioluminescent center indicates open micro-wormhole · black tether cable ascending to pen ceiling
fleshy tentacle-eyes (×2) (snail-type · dorsal) black tether cable (power + data · to pen ceiling) gill slits (×4 bilateral) ~1 m aft of head tail tip (anal pore only) manatee-like mouth (grasping lips + teeth) bioluminescent center (active wormhole indicator) fluorescent green integument
Quantum Communication Mechanism — ER = EPR
paired ComSa worms maintain maximally entangled quantum state · entanglement geometrically manifests as a stable Einstein-Rosen micro-wormhole · channel spans any distance · instantaneous

Specifications compiled from Terminus (Book 1) and Terminus Chaos (Book 2) manuscripts. The ComSa worm is a Sa-domesticated xenobiological organism bred and deployed in entangled pairs to maintain faster-than-light communication across any distance. The Federation initially believed the Sa used quantum entanglement directly; the no-communication theorem prohibits information transfer via entanglement alone. The actual mechanism is more profound: the worm pairs exploit the ER=EPR equivalence, where a maximally entangled quantum state and an Einstein-Rosen wormhole are the same geometric phenomenon. Each worm is a living quantum error-correction system that continuously sustains the entangled state, keeping the micro-wormhole topologically open. The brilliantly glowing center indicates an active wormhole link; extinction of the glow signals wormhole collapse. HumanSo warriors interface with the network through a Skunk Works-developed starfish-shaped adaptation organism enabling mind-link to the Sa communication grid.
